Purchasing Assistant
Location: Ontario
Salary: $4,482 – $5,444 per month
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Assistant to join our team in Ontario. The Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Purchasing Department. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and other related documents
• Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery
• Maintain accurate records of all purchases
• Research and identify potential vendors and suppliers
• Negotiate prices and terms with vendors and suppliers
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues with vendors and suppliers
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed
• Assist in the development of purchasing policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a purchasing role
• Knowledge of purchasing principles and practices
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
