Phlebotomist

Location: Bellflower, CA

Pay: $19.18 – $24.49 an hour

Job Description:

We are looking for a Phlebotomist to join our team in Bellflower, CA. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner. The Phlebotomist will also be responsible for preparing specimens for laboratory testing, labeling and storing samples, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Collect blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner

• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing

• Label and store samples

• Maintain accurate records

• Follow safety protocols and procedures

• Ensure patient comfort and privacy

• Answer patient questions and provide information

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Phlebotomy certification

• Previous experience in a medical setting

• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
