Pharmacy Technician & Technician Trainee

Location: Calabasas, CA

Pay: $16.20 – $19.20 an hour

Job Description:

We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician & Technician Trainee to join our team in Calabasas, CA. The Pharmacy Technician & Technician Trainee will be responsible for providing support to the Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacists in the daily operations of the pharmacy. The Technician Trainee will be responsible for learning the duties of a Pharmacy Technician and will be trained to become a certified Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Pharmacists in filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy of prescriptions, and entering patient information into the computer system

• Answer customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service

• Receive and process prescription orders

• Maintain accurate records of all prescriptions filled

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies

• Assist with the training of new Pharmacy Technicians

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or Technician Trainee preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

• Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
