Patient Service Representative II – Children’s Health Center in Los Angeles
Position Summary:
The Patient Service Representative II is responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients and families of the Children’s Health Center in Los Angeles. This position is responsible for scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and providing general information to patients and families.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and families in a friendly and professional manner
• Schedule appointments for patients and families
• Verify insurance coverage and collect payments
• Answer phones and provide general information to patients and families
• Maintain patient records and update information as needed
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
• Follow all policies and procedures of the Children’s Health Center
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Compensation:
This position pays $23.64 – $35.46 an hour.
