Hone/Match Lap Operator

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Hone/Match Lap Operator to join our team at Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining honing and lapping machines to produce precision parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to work with minimal supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate honing and lapping machines to produce precision parts

• Set up and adjust machines to ensure accuracy and quality of parts

• Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning

• Troubleshoot and repair machines as needed

• Maintain accurate records of production

• Follow safety protocols and procedures

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience operating honing and lapping machines

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• Excellent attention to detail

• Good problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

This position offers a competitive salary of $91,730 per year.
