Bookseller – PT (Torrance)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Bookseller to join our team in Torrance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for books and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Greet customers and provide assistance in locating and selecting books
• Answer customer inquiries and provide information on books, authors, and other related topics
• Process sales transactions and handle cash and credit card payments
• Maintain the store’s appearance and organization
• Receive and unpack shipments of books
• Stock shelves and displays
• Assist with special events and promotions
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to lift and move boxes of books
• Ability to work flexible hours
Compensation:
This is a part-time position with an hourly rate of $16.25.
