Accounts Payable/Purchasing Assistant
Location: Pasadena, CA
Hourly Rate: $21/hour
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable/Purchasing Assistant to join our team in Pasadena. The Accounts Payable/Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and managing the purchasing process. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
• Process invoices and reconcile accounts
• Manage the purchasing process, including researching and selecting vendors, negotiating prices, and placing orders
• Maintain accurate records of all purchases and payments
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Prepare financial reports and analysis
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Provide administrative support as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable/purchasing
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
