Job Summary
The Transfer and Graduation Evaluator I is responsible for evaluating transfer credits and determining graduation requirements for students at the college. The Evaluator will review transcripts, course descriptions, and other documents to determine the acceptability of transfer credits and the applicability of courses to degree requirements. The Evaluator will also provide guidance to students regarding transfer credits and graduation requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Evaluate transfer credits and determine graduation requirements for students.
• Review transcripts, course descriptions, and other documents to determine the acceptability of transfer credits and the applicability of courses to degree requirements.
• Provide guidance to students regarding transfer credits and graduation requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of transfer credits and graduation requirements.
• Monitor and update transfer credit policies and procedures.
• Assist with the development of new transfer credit policies and procedures.
• Respond to inquiries from students, faculty, and staff regarding transfer credits and graduation requirements.
• Assist with the development of transfer credit articulation agreements with other institutions.
• Participate in college-wide committees and task forces related to transfer credits and graduation requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Two years of experience in transfer credit evaluation or a related field.
• Knowledge of transfer credit policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
